We all love to indulge ourselves and be spoilt on Valentine’s Day . But this year why not share the love and give back to someone less fortunate.
The Hunger Project is partnering with top Australian restaurants by offering foodies and couples the chance to bid on tables for a meal for two and a bottle of wine on the busiest night of the year: Valentine’s Day. With their secured table, couples also pledge to end world hunger. Now that’s a feel-good date night!
There have been 70 amazing restaurants that have joined in across Australia for this Valentine’s Day including The Apollo (Sydney), Bennelong (Sydney), Toko (Melbourne), EightySix (Canberra), Jolleys Boathouse (Adelaide), E’cco Bistro (Brisbane) and Wildflower (Perth).
We all know how hard it can be to get a table at the best restaurants in town. We now you can book ahead by simply bidding for your spot!
Couples will be able to bid on tables from 23 January 2017 for a table, meal for two and bottle of wine at restaurants for one of the busiest nights of the year, Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2017. #amazing
All proceeds from the winning bids will be donated to The Hunger Project Australia’s programs empowering the poorest and most marginalised people in Africa, India and Bangladesh to break the poverty cycle and become self reliant. ‘A Table to End Hunger’ is a local Australian initiative that will support the global mission of the organisation – to end chronic, persistent hunger by 2030.
So what are you waiting for? The clock is ticking and restaurants are getting bid on and booked up fast .

About The Hunger Project
The Hunger Project is a global, non-profit organisation dedicated to ending world hunger by 2030 – not by handing out food, but by breaking the cycle of poverty. It sees people living in hunger not as the problem, but as the solution – their work is to empower women and men living in rural villages in India, Bangladesh and Africa to end their own hunger and lead a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity.
