  5. Helping women live more fulfilled and happy lives

1: What is your biggest challenge and greatest achievement to date?

Any challenge I was able to overcome has been my greatest achievements. To me, everyday carries small to big challenges and no one is bigger than another so if I tackle each with the same enthusiasm and energy I feel like I’m moving in the direction I need to be and as long as I am moving, I am achieving.

2:Who influences and inspires you daily

There have been so many people in my life that have influenced me to be who I am. Too many to list, but if I were to say daily, it would have to be the support I get from my man Andrew. He has definitely been a great influence in my life, not only from the love and support he gives but also just how hard we works in his profession. He is very balanced and loves to find ways to grow which keeps me up on my game, but no matter what outside influences I have, I know my inspiration comes from within. Whenever I’m not taking care of myself emotionally, physically or spiritually, I cut off my flow of energy and when that happens, NO inspiration will flow. No matter who’s around or how many times we watch Super Soul Sunday. The best way for me to keep inspiration flowing is to take care of my spirit first. That’s really what inspiration means to me. It means to be “in spirit” and I can’t do that if I’m drained and depleted with energy.

3: What do you think is vital to any relationship?

Ownership of self. If we don’t take responsibility for our own happiness, we constantly put our happiness in other peoples hands and that’s just a perfect way to feel UNHAPPY. Taking ownership says, “I take responsibility for the energy I bring and how I show up.” When two people take ownership for themselves then they have a lot to bring to a relationship.

4: Does your high profile ever affect your relationship?

The only person I am high profile to is my dog Astro haha! Other than that, I’m definitely not being bothered for pictures or large amounts of requests but as a relationship coach, I constantly have to check myself in my relationship. A lot of people think that my relationship must be perfect and that couldn’t be further from the truth. I go through the same emotions as any woman and susceptible to the same downfalls and checking myself is something I do often.

5: For women wanting to get married young, what would you say to them?

What is your WHY? So often I see people put more emphasis on the occasion and not on the relationship. Before anyone of any age gets married, you really need to be clear on why that is. The strength of your marriage depends on the work you are willing to put in, but a lot of times people think that getting married will strengthen the relationship and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Make sure your relationship matters MORE than the act of marriage, so that when you get married, you are able to sustain it.

6: How do you balance your business and love life?

My priority is always on love. Once I make that first priority, everything falls right where it needs to be.

7: Where does your value come from?

I believe our values are the bus driver of our lives (our truth), and the times we don’t (what I call) value our values, we get ourselves in a whole lot of  trouble. The further we live away from our life values, the more in-congruent and unhappy we exist.

8: What advice would you give to women wanting to pursue big dreams?

Big dreams are an accumulation of small actions. We sometimes overwhelm ourselves thinking something is too big when what we must focus on is the small actions we can take daily that will lead to our life’s purpose or that “Big Dream.”

9: What do you think women need more of nowadays?

Get back to their natural feminine energy. With all the roles we have these days, we neglect our femininity and don’t do things that light us up or allows us to feel most free, but our happiness and our relationships depend on it!

10: Any last bits of advice on love and life?

Love who you are and WHERE you are. Sure it might not be exactly where you want to be, but if you don’t love yourself now, nothing will ever make you love yourself later and worse, you kill your gift and purpose every time you believe the lie you tell yourself that you are not enough.
